Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club is located on the shores of Lake Ontario at the mouth of the Niagara River. The Club is within walking distance to the main street of Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake.
We ask that our guests consider that our golf course was built before the mass production of the automobile. As such, parking lots were never in the plans for the original designers. The present day result is a limited amount of parking near the Clubhouse.
Clubhouse opens March 27th.
Course opening TBD.
There are a small number of parking spots near the Clubhouse entrance, as well as overflow parking near our maintenance building along the number 9 hole. You will find street parking available within a block of the Clubhouse.
Due to the above mentioned parking issues, we encourage our guests to arrive well ahead of time to ensure they allow enough time to find a parking spot.
At the entrance to the Clubhouse you will find a bag drop area. Here you may stop your car for a moment, and place your golf bag on our bag drop rack, and then go to find a parking space.
We apologize for this modern inconvenience, but as mentioned earlier, cars and parking spots were not important issues during the year of the course’s founding in 1875.
If you find yourself taking a more scenic drive through the Port Dalhousie area of St. Catharines, simply make your way to Lakeshore Road and head east. After passing over the canal, you will find a relaxing drive all the way into Old Town, Niagara-on-the-Lake. Turn left when you come to Mississauga Street. Go the end and you will see our course. A right turn, then a left turn, and you will make your way to our Clubhouse.
The Niagara Parkway connects all the way into downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake. Eventually it becomes Queen Street. Follow Queen through Old Town until you see either Gate Street or Simcoe Street. Turn right at either one and proceed to the very end. You will find our Clubhouse there.
You will be looking to exit from the QEW onto exit #38B “55 Niagara Stone Rd/NOTL”. This exit is immediately after the Glendale exit. Simply follow the ramp around, merge right, and proceed to the second set of lights (by the Hilton Garden Inn). Turn left, then right again at the next lights. Follow this road all the way until you get to Highway 55. Turn right and follow it all the way until the end, and in front of you will be our course. A right and then a left and you will find your way to our Clubhouse.
